This book started out at a normal pace. It picked up and started getting interested when all the drama hit the fan. Even though this book started off a little slow, the storyline was great as well as the background information for the characters was on point. Golden was a different type of woman. She meets Destine this famous person with other issues. Golden is so use to letting people ran other her that she let him do it as well. But not for long. There's a lot of drama going on for sure. Can't wait for book two.
Just amazing work. I didn't expect all of this, I'm honestly so used to the thug and princess stories that I e become numb to everything. But this one!!! Just completely amazing.

Could this have ended in one book? Yeah, but after reading it, I actually hope there's a sequel.
Long chapters, plenty of drama, love, deceit, I'm just blown. I love the extra characters too I just hope we can remained focused on the main ones, lol.

Golden she was educated and smart. All around good girl. Destine was self centered and cocky. Golden needs to be treated with r*e*s*p*e*c*t. A different read and a good book. Can't wait to read PartcTwo

This book started out slow and steady but interesting all at the same time.. As I continued to read it started to peek my interest a little more... Then all of a sudden I find myself all into because a lot of drama was happening... It became a page turner because I wanted to see what was happening... My feelings even got envoled.. So I had my moments of sadness... Hurt and anger... I loved the characters and how well this story flowed... Golden was my favorite... She was a smart, loving, educated and motivated young lady... She wasn't out running the streets sleeping around... She was what they called a nerd in this book... I just loved her... I kept feeling like. I wanted to protect her... Then you have Destine and he is famous and caught up with some things... He was cocky and mad me mad at him a lot from some of the things he said or did... Especially when it hurt Golden... Golden already had to deal with the crap from her family then to deal with his too... Nope. .. But you know what she handled it... I didn't like how fast she gave in... It was like he could do what ever he wanted and treat her any ol way and she will just except it... She needed a little more fight in her... Now with the way it ended... I have a fee questions left so not sure if there will be a part 2... We will see... Over all really good read...
ONCE THIS BOOK PULLED ME IN I WAS STUCK! I REALLY ENJOYED THIS READ IT WAS NOT AT ALL PREDICTABLE. I FORGOT THERE WAS GOING TO BE A PART 2 BECAUSE IT COULD OF JUST ENDED WITH THE OTHER CHARACTERS NOT HAVING A BIG STORY LINE. I WAS SATISFIED HOW THE 2 MAIN CHARACTERS TURNED OUT. NOW I CAN'T WAIT & I WILL BE WAITING TO READ ALL ABOUT THEIR LIVES. GOOD JOB KAIXO LOVE THE NAME & I SEE HOW U BRING THAT IN YOUR WRITING
